The Work From Home Fashion That You Need!

Since the Pandemic started last 2020 work-from-home and remote set-up work have been a trend. Not only because of the Pandemic but also because it gives much more flexibility to employees who don’t want to dress up for work.

So, what is work from home or remote work?

Work from home or working from home has an acronym of WFH, it describes work being done at home, instead of in an office. Many organizations and companies transitioned their employees from the office to work from home during Coronavirus Global Pandemic. Although we are currently emerging from the Coronavirus pandemic, there are still many businesses and companies that implement work-from-home or remote work.

Work-from-home fashion?

Yes, I know people would say “why would I dress up when I’m working from home?”. Yes, you are right however, we also have to attend meetings, training, and seminars with a webcam on and be professional on these occasions, especially when our supervisor or manager is also attending. But hey, it’s just your shirt that matters, unless your boss requests you to stand up and present yourself.

So, what are the fashion trends when working from home?

If you’re currently working from home or plans to work from home in the future, there are great picks for you to choose from.

Like a Unisex hoodie, this is the most common work-from-home fashion you can wear, not only that it can layer your undershirt if you’re wearing a dirty shirt it is also easy to wear for just a normal day working from home.

Next, we have the long sleeve shirt, great for any ordinary day working from home, even with a meeting, or seminar this is a good pick for both occasions.

Another is a Polo shirt, this is a great pick if you’re going somewhere after work or after attending online meetings, seminars, or training. Ready to go out after your 9-5 job to get something? A Polo shirt is a good choice.

For professional attire, you can wear a suit, composed of a necktie, long sleeve shirt underneath, and a coat. This attire is great when you’re in an online meeting with your supervisor, managers, and executives or if you’re in an online interview for your job.

For your pants, there are great choices also.

You can wear a pajama for ordinary work-from-home days just make sure your boss doesn’t make you present your outfit for work, a drawstring pant is a great choice not only for working from home but if you have to be somewhere after work this is a great choice, jogging pants is also nice, if you need to work out after a long day of working from home you can go straight after your shift ends.

Fashion can work in both ways, whether you’re at the office to impress someone or your boss, or working from home to get a comfortable feeling about whatever you want to wear. Like Diane Von Furstenberg said “If you have it you can make anything look good.
